A 'brilliant' show which made an end to Amsterdam International Fashion Week. With half naked male models you always get my attention. And with unbelieveably designed high heels it kinda works the same. Too bad my pictures aren't more detailed (or that I've got a good picture of the shoes), but with this show the room was actually packed and I was glad the boyfriend and I even had a seat.. The third day of fashion week turned out to be the only day with sunshine.. The timing couldn't have been better, since Sage and Ivy planned their show outdoor, where I sat front row with Anna from I Love Fashion News, both enjoying our champagne and cupcakes. The show had something magical, because of the music, sunset, catwalk on water and dreamy dresses. (Read more about it here) After this show, my friend Michelle joined me to the most commercial yet most fun show of the week: Hunkemöller. As if they were Dutch Victoria's Secret Angels, the models paraded on the runway with an attitude, showing us a perfect sight on their perfect bodies. The show was very exotic, as a carribean band performed between the lingerie and beachwear collections, which made everyone in the room bouncing and dancing..

After a quick outfit change, the last show of the 2nd day of Amsterdam International Fashion Week I visited together with my lovely Stephanie, was Lichting 2011 supported by G-Star RAW, where the 14 most talented graduates of 2011 showed their collection. It was Sanne Schepers (photo's 5, 6, 7) who won the 'G-Star RAW talent award' including a prize money worth of €10.000, but my personal favourite was Jenny Kloszynski (photo's 1, 2, 3), because every single piece of that collection was beyond beautiful. The most beautiful collection I've seen this fashion week was from Winde Rienstra, who showed very impressing sculptural and architectural pieces, demonstrating her talent for crafts. I mean, how splendid are these shoes? L-O-V-E!

To be honest, I can't be objective about this show. Because ever since I've got my first Tony Cohen dress, I'm a huge fan. The fact that I had the nicest and probably longest interview with Tony a while ago for Overdose.am isn't really helping too. This show brought glamour to Amsterdam International Fashion Week, with a variety of looks. Being more edgy than before is clearly a plus! The hand beaded mesh and kaleidoscope printed silk dress is without a doubt my favourite of the collection. More about the show you can read here.
